How Spudaroo Works for Buyers and Experts

Spudaroo.com is new and different. We are about making projects flow smoothly from concept through to delivery. Experts benefit from working with buyers that are engaged and focused on reaching a satisfying conclusion, resulting in a well defined, time efficient project with guaranteed payment. We don’t deal in proposals, experts are required to submit their interpretation of the project brief for the buyer to review in a read-only format and request amends.

Can a buyer copy my submission and avoid payment? The buyer is required to deposit their budget with Spudaroo.com when they post their project so in effect, they have already paid. Stealing what they have paid for doesn’t make much sense. Also, our document viewer is read-only but of course this doesn’t stop a buyer from producing a screen shot image… of something they already paid for. You get the picture.

Can other experts steal from my ideas? The default format for projects on Spudaroo.com is 'funnels' also known as 'blind contests'. This means that while the buyer can see all of the submissions, experts can’t see each others, protecting creativity.

Am I working on spec? It depends on how you look at it. Spudaroo.com is about time efficient projects for both parties. Proposals take time, are clunky and often have to be verified. Your goal is to engage the client and deliver the project. What you put into your initial submission to achieve that is entirely up to you.
